A decade ago, Toyota even created a car brand for them -- Scion -- which featured low prices, funky designs, and lots of opportunities for customization. Its success has been mixed. Supposedly, Gen Y'ers are tech-savvy, family-centric, achievement oriented -- and crave attention.
